Hola! Mi nombre es Vinny. Soy de Wisconsin en los Estados Unidos. He estado aprendiendo y enseñando idiomas por más de 10 años, 4 años de manera online. Me especializo en enseñar inglés norteamericano natural y conversacional a hablantes nativos del Español.

En mis clases te voy a ayudar en:

-Hablar con confianza con una pronunciación correcta.
-Expresarse de manera eficiente y precisa utilizando las palabras y expresiones correctas.
-Comprender la rapidez natural del inglés como en la televisión, películas y podcasts.

No soy solamente un profesor, soy un entrenador del aprendizaje, no era perfecto cuando empecé a aprender idiomas, de hecho, fallé muchas veces antes de tener éxito. Entiendo tus desafíos y te voy a apoyar hasta que puedas estar completamente satisfecho con tu nivel de Inglés.

~Mi estilo de enseñanza~
Mi estilo de enseñanza es CREATIVA pero organizada al mismo tiempo. Amo enseñar usando tecnología: Tarjetas de aprendizaje, diccionarios, archivos de PowerPoint, imágenes de Google, y grabaciones en vivo son algunas de las herramientas que uso durante las lecciones.

Soy amistoso, paciente y adaptable. Soy muy curioso y me interesa saber de ti, tu historia de vida, tu país y cultura. Creo que lo más importante a la hora de aprender idiomas es la MOTIVACIÓN. Yo deseo que sea divertido cuando estás estudiando Inglés. Tener diversión= es tener más motivación. En mis clases, tendrás una experiencia divertida, interactiva, y creativa. No vamos a practicar solo aburridos ejercicios de gramática. Vamos a ver imágenes, crear tarjetas de aprendizaje, escribiremos historias y tendremos conversaciones interesantes.

MATERIALES DE ENSEÑANZA

~Tarjetas de aprendizaje~
Poseo un sistema de tarjetas de aprendizaje dos en uno y una App que te enseñará el nuevo vocabulario y gramática que vamos a trabajar durante la lección. Las tarjetas de aprendizaje incluyen sonidos e imágenes. Tomo notas durante la lección, con esto creo nuevo material para ti basado en tus errores más comunes. Todas las semanas vas a recibir nuevas tarjetas de aprendizaje para poder estudiar.

OFF2CLASS.COM
Utilizo una plataforma llamada Off2Class.com. Cuando empiezas las lecciones conmigo te voy a proveer tu propia cuenta donde vas a poder acceder a todos los materiales que usaremos durante la lección.

El curso incluye prueba de nivel, curriculum personalizado, cientas de lecciones con tareas prácticas extras, y acceso a mi Google Drive. El Google Drive contiene una infinidad de contenido para seguir aprendiendo fuera de clase, todo el tiempo. Hay podcasts, libros, cómics, diccionarios y tarjetas para memorizar las palabras más usadas en inglés. Te doy todo lo que necesitas para aprender inglés.

SOBRE MÍ
Mi antecedente es en edición de video y tecnología relacionada con medios. Estudié Thai, Japonés y Español. Mis intereses incluyen Yoga, meditación, viajar, medicina de Chamanismo nativo americano y plantas medicinales, comida natural y orgánica, leer, música electrónica y escribir.

Yo escogí aprender español con el fin de sanar mi cerebro después de sufrir de PTSD Trastorno de estrés postraumático por varios años y para conectarme más con el mundo de los chamanes de América Latina. Exitosamente me curé y entendí que aprender un nuevo idioma podía restaurar el daño cerebral, desarrollando nuevos aspectos de la personalidad, y fundamentalmente cambiar la manera en la que piensas y de cómo trabaja tu cerebro.

Hello! My name is Vinny. I'm from Wisconsin in the United States. I have been learning and teaching languages for over 10 years, 4 years online. I specialize in teaching natural, conversational English to native Spanish speakers.

I'm not just a teacher. I am a learning coach. I was not perfect when I started learning languages. In fact, I failed many times before I succeeded. I understand your challenges and I will support you until you are satisfied with your level of English.

~Teaching Style~
My teaching is CREATIVE but organized at the same time. I love to teach using technology: flashcards, dictionaries, powerpoints, google images, and live recording are some of the tools I use during our lessons.

I am friendly, patient, and adaptable. I'm very curious and I want to know about you, your life story, your country and your culture. I believe the most important thing when learning languages is MOTIVATION. I want you to have fun when you learn English. Having fun = more motivation. In my classes you will have a fun, interactive and creative experience. We don't just practice boring grammar exercises. We look at pictures, make flashcards, write stories, and have interesting conversations.

~About me~
My background is in video editing and media-related technology. I have studied Thai, Japanese and Spanish. My interests include Yoga, Tantra, meditation, travel, native American shamanism and plant medicines, organic & natural food, reading, electronic music, dancing, and writing.

I chose to learn Spanish in order to heal my brain after suffering from PTSD for several years and to become more connected to the world of the shamans of Latin America. I successfully healed my brain and believe that learning a new language can restore brain damage, develop new aspects of your personality, and fundamentally change the way you think and how your brain works.

~Teaching Materials~

I have an all-in-one flashcard system and app that will teach you the new vocabulary and grammar that we cover during the lesson. Flashcards include sound and pictures. I take notes during the lesson and create new learning material for you based on your common mistakes. Every week you will receive new flashcards to study.

-Off2Class.com-
I use a lesson platform called Off2Class.com. When you start lessons with me I will give you your own account where you can access all the materials we use during the lesson and extra practice assignments. I also give you creative challenges, such as telling a story and recording yourself or writing sentences and short stories with new words.
