I have taught English as a Foreign Language at a community college and a language institute, as well as private lessons in students homes. I have also tutored Spanish over Skype. Most of my students have been immigrants from Mexico and Latin America. I am fluent in Spanish.
I like to teach in a way that is fun, friendly, and relaxed. It is important that you feel supported yet also challenged. English is a difficult language to learn . But there are a lot of tricks you can learn that will help make it easier. For example, sometimes the ED ending of verbs is pronounced as a T sound as in "asked," sometimes as a D sound as in "ordered," and sometimes as ID as in "pointed." But you don't have to memorize all the pronunciations. There are a few rules you can learn that will let you know how to pronounce the ED ending before saying or reading a verb ending in ED aloud.
Thanks for letting me introduce myself to you and I hope I get an opportunity to teach you on verbling.
