I'm a European Portuguese and English professional teacher skilled in teaching private and corporate students worldwide.
I've been working with students from all walks of life across the globe, such as from Google™, Facebook™, Twitter™, Indeed™, Eventbrite™, Outbrand™ - to name a few.
To me, every student is unique, and while teaching, I'm also learning about yourself, your culture - which is fantastic.
I'm currently in Portugal, Lisbon; nevertheless, I fancy traveling - I've seen a bit of the world/cultures -, languages, learn new things, and so many other things that we can discover together.
Me as a Teacher
I consider myself a warm, passionate, welcoming, and patient making me curious about every student that contacts me.
It's so refreshing to know what drives each person, their quirks, specific needs so that I can support constructively and authentically.
This is important while teaching either Portuguese or English, and even when speaking other languages, that is a way to engage with my students and build a safe learning 'container.'
My Lessons & Teaching Style
I use a communicative approach, which means that you'll start speaking since the first lesson.
It's important to immerse you in the language as soon as possible, along with the cultural aspect so that we can role-play real-life situation.
When in face to face setting with natives, you'll be more confident, and everything that you've learner will pop up naturally.
Every lesson is tailored to your needs and goals while I'll be pushing you to go the extra mile. It's essential to get out of your comfort zone, and in our lessons, you're safe - making mistakes it's fantastic, and you'll learn a lot from it.
Some students say that I'm very passionate about languages and culture, and I must agree - my rationale is that the world is our playground, so why don't we play with it the best way possible.
When I say this, what I mean is that we can be learning how to grasp the language in a more broad way or go more specific, like preparing you for presenting a meeting or even a 'survival language kit' if you'll be in town for the weekend.
What is holding you back? - take the leap and speak like a Pro; you'll be amazed at yourself.
