Hello! I am an English teacher at heart! I started teaching several years ago as a way to live abroad, and I instantly fell in love with the job. I taught in South Korea for 2 years and loved every minute in the classroom. I mainly taught children from ages 5-17, but I also held many private lessons with adults. I am comfortable teaching grammar, pronunciation and general fluency improvement. I have a 100-hour TEFL certification and I recently acquired my CELTA in Budapest, Hungary.
The best way to describe my style and approach to teaching is to relax, and have fun! It's important to be comfortable making mistakes and I focus on keeping my students engaged to do this. Learning a language is hard, but it doesn't have to be boring! I'm a very curious person and I like to have conversations based on the student's interests. Of course, I'm happy to discuss a few of my favorite hobbies as well, such as rock climbing and trekking. I am happy to teach students of any level: from basic greetings, to advanced conversation and grammar!
