📌 My lessons 📌
I treat every student as an individual and believe that learning should be fun yet real-world relevant. Before our first lesson, I will assess your specific requirement by sending you my comprehensive needs analysis. I will then tailor my lessons to your specific needs. This means I use a wide variety of resources, including many of my own creation, ensuring they are relevant for you. Our lessons will feature an outline lesson plan so you know what to expect. Together, we will review your progress at the end of each lesson, providing feedback and ensuring you are on track with your goals.
📌 My qualifications 📌
I am highly qualified and earned three degrees. I hold two Master's level teaching qualifications: The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Qualified Teacher Status in the UK. I also hold a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL), with British Council TEFL-Q Status. I passed this MA with a high Distinction grade. My dissertation research has been nominated for the British Council's 20/21 Award. Also, I am also an experienced examiner who holds the Cambridge Certificate in Assessment (CCCA). I have an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (DBS) certificate for working with students under 18.
📌 My experience 📌
I have over 11 years of teaching experience. I have taught children and adults in 10 different countries; across schools and universities. My teaching has consistently been assessed at 'Outstanding’ or ‘Distinction’ level. I have taught in Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and the UK. As Director of Studies, I have managed teams of teachers internationally. I also mentor university students for which the University of Kent awarded me (2018) Mentor of the Year.
📌 Say hello! 📌
All questions and enquiries welcome. Personally, I love drinking tea (black with milk, naturally!) combined with: business, economics, entrepreneurship, probability/risk theory, stocks, philosophy, religion, politics and travel. I also enjoy board games, writing articles, reading books, pub quizzes, and of course, good food. Send me a message if you would like to know more and let me know how I can help you.
😊 I look forward to hearing from you and helping you achieve your goals today! 😊
