Hi there! Thank you for visiting my profile. I’m Bernadette, a native English speaker from America. I know Latin, Ancient Greek, some Italian, and am currently living in Germany learning German. I have a degree in English and a TEFL certificate. I know what it takes to really learn a language – and how to have fun doing it!
Let’s get talking!
In group language classes, it’s easy to sit in the back and avoid speaking. But not in a private lesson! You will be talking from your first lesson with me – and we talk about what YOU want to talk about. I use the trial session to get to know you, your language level, your goals and interests. I will create your lessons to be not only informative, but customized to your interests, needs, and goals.
During our lessons, you will get:
- Relevant vocabulary for practical, everyday situations
- Grammar and function instruction
- Tips on how to sound more like a native speaker
- A relaxed, stress-free environment to really perfect your English skills
- beginners, teenagers, and adults
- all English levels
- General English, Academic English, and Business English
- Academic English
- CV / Resume help
- Interview practice
The lessons use a variety of materials, including songs, stories, news articles, and videos.
Book your first lesson today and start speaking English immediately!

Teaching English as a Foreign Language
