I've lived in several cities in Mexico and in northern Spain. These experiences allow me to notice the cultural and linguistic differences between both countries.
I've been a solo backpacker since 2010. I’ve been to Morocco, France, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Portugal, Israel and Palestine, and Italy besides of course a lot of places within Spain and México.
I like to spend most of my free time cycling, watching TV series and movies, camping and calling family and friends spread all over the globe. I also enjoy repairing things at home and cooking.
Oh, and I love animals (except deep underwater creatures IUGH!)
I'm a certified Spanish teacher. Since 2015 I attend several conferences and courses per year to keep me up to date and improve my teaching.
We'll work on developing your skills (writing, listening, reading and speaking) and your learning strategies (summarizing, rephrasing, active listening, etc) as a whole to help you become a more independent learner.
I truly believe in intercultural and communicative teaching. In other words, I'll try to provide a diversified amount of materials and activities to prepare you for the real interactions you may face.
I’ll be available within specified hours to keep on track my students once the class finishes.
Student-centered: Each class will be tailored following the improvement areas that I may detect plus your own goals.
I've invested in a Full-HD camera, a good microphone, a headset, and a fast and stable Internet connection to deliver the best possible experience.
"En la variedad está el gusto" which means that variety is the fuel of motivation. As I mentioned before, we'll use different physical and online materials within each planning.
Variety = motivation
Motivation + our commitment = achievement of your goal.
Mistake friendly classroom! We’ll both be mistaken sometimes but the important thing is that we both know that our flaws will surely help us improve instead of harm us.
