Winter is settling in in Montreal- snowflakes are falling and the sun has already set (it's 4:30 p.m. as I write this!). Winter for me means hibernation. It is carte blanche to go inwards, slow down, get cozy, spend time with friends and family... and EAT all kinds of warm, savoury, brothy or decadent foods.
I will eat soup for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and am a sucker for all things cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg- especially ginger-carrot soup or brown lentil soup with cinnamon and nutmeg! YUM. I also have a weakness for all baked goods... but that's not just come winter 😉
I'd love to know what your favourite meal is at this time of year (or any time of year!).
