I am Ms Leena, a Hindi language, literature and Indian cultural studies tutor. I was born and grew up in India but now living in the US for the last 25 years. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in Hindi and English. I have completed graduate coursework at Minnesota University, specifically in teaching Hindi virtually. Languages and teaching are two of my greatest passions. I feel fortunate to get an opportunity to establish the first undergraduate Hindi language program at a South Carolina university. I have been teaching beginner to advanced levels of Hindi courses for the last 13 years to 300+ students. Several of my students have won prestigious scholarships such as Critical Language and Fulbright scholarships. My focus is always to empower you - the student - whether you want to visit India, communicate with your Hindi-speaking colleagues or relatives, improve Hindi for academics, or just understand Bollywood movies without subtitles because they are so much fun to watc...
