Katalanca Eğitmen ve Öğretmenleri
Hola, my name is José, I am from Barcelona (Spain) and I am teacher for foreigners since 2014. I have worked in different schools in Barcelona (Education First and Sprachcaffe) and in London (Spanish House London) and also as private teacher in Germany and Switzerland. Even if I finished Journalism at the University, I decided to do a Spanish Training Course to become teacher, after I found that teaching my really professional vocation. I like travelling, being sorrounded by people from all over the world and helping everyone who wants to learn my native language and the Spanish and Latinoamerican cultures. My way of teaching is always based on communication. From the first day, I give the students the chance of learning while speaking and practising. I am always open to suggestions and used to adapt the classes to the students's preferences. I hope to hear soon from you, gracias!
Hello everyone, my name is Ester and I’m from Barcelona. Catalan is my mother tongue and I’ve been teaching Catalan and English for the last 7 years. I’m a qualified Social Educator and I mainly use storytelling strategies (incorporate true or fictional stories) in order to engage my students and make learning more relevant to them. My Catalan lessons are tailored made. If you only need to know elementary vocabulary and structures for a short stay, we’ll focus on everyday language and will do lots of practice. If you’re going to college, we’ll work more on grammar and academic structures. You might also want to work in Barcelona, then, according to your business, we’ll focus on specific voc and Catalan for business. So, are you planning a trip to Catalonia? Maybe Barcelona or Girona? Either if you are a MA student, a tourist or an entrepreneur, knowing some Catalan is going to be extremely helpful. Why? Although we all speak Spanish, Catalan is officially needed at school/universities and if you’re willing to work or doing some business in Catalonia, elementary Catalan in your CV is a must. Also, as a tourist, some knowledge of Catalan will help you to get a wider view of our culture, and believe me, there’s nothing that Catalan people like the most than a visitor or foreigner using some basic Catalan words when addressing to them, you’ll win them over! And everything, using real material with lots of tips in order to keep you updated about what’s going on in Barcelona.
