Los porqués

El alumno me preguntó por qué había visto tantas maneras diferentes de escribir la palabra “porque”, y yo le dije que era porque en español no significa lo mismo “porqué” que “porque” u “por qué” y que además, esa era la causa por la que algunos de sus textos no tenían sentido.


Por qué
Se utiliza para elaborar preguntas cuando queremos obtener información sobre la causa o la razón de algo.
Ejemplos:
¿Por qué te acuestas tarde?
¿Por qué estás enfermo?

Por que
A diferencia del anterior, es más difícil de usar. Se trata de una preposición (por) y el pronombre relativo (que). Como en otras oraciones de relativo el pronombre introduce la oración subordinada.
Ejemplos:
Ese fue el motivo por (el) que te llamé.
En este caso es más corriente usar el relativo con artículo antepuesto (el que, la que, etc.) que encontrarse oraciones sin él.

Porqué
Es un sustantivo que significa “motivo”, “razón, “causa”, “pregunta”, y como cualquier sustantivo puede ir acompañado de artículos definidos e indefinidos, posesivos, y demostrativos.
Ejemplos:
El porqué de tu éxito es un secreto.
Yo no sé el porqué de su actitud.

Porque
Es una conjunción y la utilizamos para responder con la causa o el motivo cuando nos hacen preguntas que empiezan por “por qué”.
Ejemplos:
Estoy cansada porque no he dormido bien.
Estoy triste porque no tengo trabajo.

En la competencia oral la diferencia entre unos y otros lógicamente no la marcará la ortografía, sino la pronunciación así que ¡ojo al acento o tilde!
