Learning a language that you haven’t spoken since you were born could be an art.

You are creating a new you. You are developing new skills. You are opening doors to new opportunities. You are opening your mind. You are making yourself more complicated, equipped and at the same time more available to others.
Learning a language that you haven’t spoken since you were born could be a fun. You are speaking a foreign language right away. You are making mistakes. You have no fears for mistakes. Everyone makes them. These mistakes even make you cute and funny. With these mistakes you are becoming closer to this language community.
Learning a language that you haven’t spoken since you were born could be a journey. You are widening your horizons. The world is open to you and you are opening yourself to the world. The world is free, and you are becoming free with your new skills. You are travelling across the cultures, even without passing the borders. You are opening the doors to a new culture, to new friends. You are widening your friendship territory.
Learning a language that you haven’t spoken since you were born could be a gymnastic for your brain. You train your memory. You open your mind. You enlarge your capacities. You become more efficient. Learning a language keeps you young.

Go ahead, create new you every day!!!

Hello everyone! I am happy to be here! Welcome everyone to my page!! I am life-time learner of foreigner languages and I really enjoy helping others to learn my native language - Russian. I graduated from the Kazakh University of World Languages and International Relations in the beautiful Almaty, Kazakhstan. My major was translations studies, but I love more teaching. I do have experience of teaching languages. I taught English to Russian speakers for two years and I taught Russian to English speakers for one year. Now I speak English, Italian, and I learn Spanish. As I am a language learner, I perfectly understand the problems one can face learning a new language. Sometimes we do work hard and then at some point we lose motivation for a while and it is so hard to start it over again. So please answer yourself: why you would like to learn Russian or other foreign language. As soon as you know your answers, it will be much easier for us find the right way to have our lessons to be done. I believe in order to remember big volumes of language vocabulary, we need to imagine some eventual situations in our mind where we need to use the new phrase we’ve learnt just now and pronounce it aloud. That way, we work on vocabulary and pronunciation at the same time. And you will see you learn new words much faster, easier and with the great fun. That is important!!! In our lessons, we also pay attention to language use, idioms, collocations, grammar structures and sentence structures and I promise that wouldn’t be boring. But we still have to handle all six Russian cases, verb tenses, Russian verbs with numerous prefixes that change the meaning of the verb (just for instance, ходить, приходить, уходить, выходить, заходить, переходить, проходить, сходить, всходить, восходить, исходить...) and other things that make some people crazy. But it is not that difficult. That might be “as easy as pie” in English, or “проще простого” in Russian. And we also have some reading in our class depending on your level, since it is the large source for vocabulary enrichment. I would be happy to discover my native language with you, since you help me look at it with your foreigner’s eyes and find the things I’ve never thought about. Thank you! I look forward for new meetings!!!
